In March 2009, Pastor Sha'quila Mathews of Greater Joy Church
(www.greaterjoyindy.com) in Indianapolis contacted us with great excitement
about launching a gospel music website in Indianapolis, IN, similar to
DetroitGospel.com, ChicagoGospel.com, and New YorkGospel.com. We were excited as
well, because we believe that the Lord has led us to spread the gospel via the
good news of gospel music and the Internet.
Sha'quila wrote to us, "I was so excited when I saw your website because I am a
christian and I am also a Pastor of a church here in the Indianapolis area and
we are always wanting to know what is going on in the community for Christians."
We believe the Lord led Sha'quila to contact us, and we immediately moved
Indianapolis to the top of our list of sites we were going to launch next.
With much prayer, some delay, and great excitement, we are pleased to bring
IndyGospel.com to the Internet. We pray that it is a blessing to the
Indianapolis gospel music and entertainment community. With Sha'quila as our
local bureau chief, we look forward to supporting, meeting, and working with our
brothers and sisters in Indy.
