The Warning is a project filled with something for everybody. This CD is
thought-provoking and life-changing, not something always expected in Gospel
Rap. B The Messenger is indeed a voice called by God for this generation. The
production of this CD is skillfully mastered, the vocals are superb, and the
beats are banging. The lyrics are inspired by the Word of God and infused with
the pain and joy that B The Messenger uses to bless the Kingdom of God. With 16
tracks that will have you nodding your head and worshipping Christ, this CD is
for all walks of life. If you are a Christian, then you can appreciate God's
forgiveness and second chances with songs like "Life" and "Thangs Change." My
favorite song would have to be "So Long." This song has so much passion and
truth that you feel closer to your destiny; closer to receiving the promises of
God. I had the chance to catch up with B The Messenger and ask him the meaning
behind this song. He related that "So Long" was birthed from a very challenging
time in his life and that it began to pour out of his spirit. In essence, he
thought that he had been waiting on God but in reality God had been waiting on
him.
