Tyscot Records' Artist Lucinda Moore Wins First Ever Stellar Award

Nashville, TN -- In a year of dramatic firsts, Gospel star Lucinda Moore continues to break new ground in her career and open doors for her current CD, `Blessed Broken & Given' (Tyscot Records). The singer has won the first Stellar Award (the gospel music industry’s answer to the Grammy) of her two-decade career at the 26th Annual Stellar Award ceremony that took place at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville . In an upset vote, Moore beat out gospel legends Shirley Caesar and Vanessa Bell Armstrong, alongside newcomer Fredericka Faison, for the coveted honor.

2011 Stellar Award Winners

The 26th Annual Stellar Gospel Music Awards were held January 17, 2011 in Nashville, TN. Artists from Indy's Tyscot Records were well represented, with The Anointed Pace Sisters receiving four nominations, Lucinda Moore winning "Traditional Female Vocalist of the Year" and Corey Coco Brother Condrey winning "Special Event CD of the Year."
