New Release from Demetrius West and Authority

INDIANAPOLIS...has been home of many secular artists, musicians, and actors/actresses as well as many gospel greats. Newcomers LCP Music Group, a new gospel record company, will release its first national imprint, "I Am A Worshipper," from Indianapolis native Demetrius West and his newly formed aggregation, Authority. West, who has been in gospel music now for over 10 years, serves as the record company's president.

Nashville, TN -- In a year of dramatic firsts, Gospel star Lucinda Moore continues to break new ground in her career and open doors for her current CD, `Blessed Broken & Given' (Tyscot Records). The singer has won the first Stellar Award (the gospel music industry’s answer to the Grammy) of her two-decade career at the 26th Annual Stellar Award ceremony that took place at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville . In an upset vote, Moore beat out gospel legends Shirley Caesar and Vanessa Bell Armstrong, alongside newcomer Fredericka Faison, for the coveted honor....

Shaquila Mathews

Sha'Quila M. Mathews is a native of Cincinnati, OH, where she attended Hamilton High. While in Jr. High, Shaquila took a Current Events class, and from there her love and interest grew to always stay up-to-date on events that where going on in the community where she lived and abroad. Later, God called her to the ministry after almost being tragically killed in a head on collision on October 24, 1997, that changed her life forever. Sha’Quila became heavily involved with the Youth in her local church where she taught Sunday school and also was over the Step Team. Because of Sha’Quila’s love for current events and news, she always had the Youth very active and involved in the community. From there Sha’Quila’s love for Gospel Entertainment grew and from that she always believed that “Just because you’re a Christian, you don’t have to lead a dull boring life and have to compromise just to have fun.” God further called Sha’Quila and her husband into the ministry by starting Greater Joy Church located in Indianapolis, IN. After seeing all of the great information and advertisement that DetroitGospel.com had to offer their city, she knew that Indianapolis needed the same.
