Da Minister Rep is a "Psalmist on a mission," ready to take the Kingdom back and stop the reign of secular music as the answer for today's youth. His mission keeps him striving to be the alternative to the world's message, to be the one to teach a generation to "Keep It Minstry"!

September 12, 2009, saw the "marriage" union of Da Minister Rep and K.I.M (Keep It Ministry). This man of God made a declaration to "marry" his ministry and promised that everything he does will be ministry minded, ministry focused, and to truly be a "psalmist on a mission." Like the word of God says, "When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things" (1 Corithians 13:11). Those present witnessed this young man of God step into his minstry,

I had the chance to sit down and talk with Da Minister Rep, and I asked him, "How does being a minister of the Gospel of the Word and rap music mesh?" He responded that they are a bridge to one another and that Da minister Rep is his fisherman's clothes, because eveyone is not going to receive Da Minister Rep the preacher, but the rapper allows him into areas that otherwise would not allow for "suit and tie." This man of God believes that music is a weapon and wants to give youth an alternative to superceed secular music and to stop its reign.

I asked Da Minister if this is a hard mission, considering the hold and the force of secular music and the influence that it has on our youth. His response was powerfully put, "It could be a hard thing naturally, but an easy thing spiritually. Reason being because the Word of God; It will convict and that every knee shall bow and every toungue confess. But we live in such a tank world that doesn't acknowledge God, and we live such a closed-minded Christian life that as Christians we think it's ok to mix the sacred with the secular, and that's where the battle comes in. Because we as Christians, we invest in the secular, we buy tickets to concerts, we buy CD's, but won't invest in the Kingdom of God. We have gone too far."

Da Minister Rep's "marriage" ceremony took place at Emmaus Christian Church, 3919 Layfayette Road
